Built from 304-grade stainless steel, the same grade used in good cookware, this fountain wipes clean instead of gradually staining the way plastic surfaces can.

A 3.2 litre tank holds enough water that a single cat needs refilling only every few days, while two or three cats will need it topped up somewhat more often. The lid lifts off with a simple buckle rather than a twist mechanism, so refilling doesn't mean disassembling the whole unit each time.

Running under 20 decibels, the pump sits in a fixed holder at the bottom of the tank rather than loose on the base, which is what typically causes rattling in cheaper fountains. Both the tray and tank are fully dishwasher safe once the pump is detached by hand, and a two-stage filtration system, a pre-filter sponge plus an activated carbon filter, keeps water tasting genuinely fresh rather than of the tank itself. The carbon filter needs replacing roughly every two to four weeks depending on how many cats are drinking from it.
