Soft Washable Fleece Cat Blanket

momomoca's Soft Washable Fleece Cat Blanket exists because cats tend to claim the softest surface in any room, and more often than not that surface turns out to be your sofa, your bed, or whatever blanket you were using yourself. Giving a cat their own dedicated fleece blanket gives them a soft spot that's clearly theirs, which in a lot of households genuinely does redirect some of that claiming instinct away from furniture and bedding you'd rather keep fur-free. Unlike an upholstered cat bed, a blanket is flexible enough to drape over a favourite sofa cushion, line the bottom of a carrier, fold into a smaller shape for a crate, or simply spread out flat wherever your cat happens to be settling for the afternoon. That flexibility is part of the appeal: rather than committing to one fixed bed shape and location, a blanket adapts to wherever your cat currently wants to be, whether that's a sunny windowsill, the back of an armchair, or tucked alongside them in a carrier during a car journey or vet visit. It's available in several sizes, from a small square suited to lining a carrier to a larger throw that can cover a full sofa cushion or corner, making it easy to match the blanket to whichever spot in the house needs a soft layer added to it, without committing to a single fixed location the way a bulkier bed would.

The blanket is made from soft fleece that provides warmth without adding much weight, which matters for cats that prefer to burrow under a light layer rather than being pinned down by something heavy. Fleece also has a texture cats tend to enjoy kneading and curling into, and unlike some upholstered bed fabrics, it doesn't hold onto claw snags the way a looser weave might. The single biggest practical advantage over a built-in cushioned bed is that this blanket goes straight into a washing machine when it gets covered in fur or picks up an accident, rather than needing to be spot-cleaned or air-dried in place. That makes it a far more practical option for multi-cat households or for cats prone to shedding heavily during seasonal coat changes, since a quick wash restores it fully rather than leaving lingering fur embedded in the fabric. Several sizes are available so the blanket can serve different purposes around the house: a smaller size works well as a car seat or crate liner for travel and vet visits, while a larger size suits draping over a sofa corner or laying flat as a general-purpose soft spot for lounging anywhere your cat chooses to settle.

Machine washing is straightforward, though giving the blanket a good shake outside or over a bin before washing helps remove loose fur first and keeps your washing machine's filter from clogging as quickly. Fleece does pick up some fur during use, which is normal for any soft fabric surface a cat regularly sleeps on, but it releases that fur readily in the wash rather than holding onto it permanently the way certain other materials can. For indoor use, the fleece provides enough warmth on its own for most cats through the cooler months, though layering it inside a covered bed can add extra warmth for older cats or those that feel the cold more than average. Wash on a normal cycle and tumble dry on low, or air dry, depending on your machine and the manufacturer guidance on the care label. Because it's simple to launder and reasonably priced across its size range, many households find it practical to keep two on hand, rotating one through the wash while the other stays in use, so your cat always has a soft, clean spot available no matter what day of the week it happens to be, without ever leaving them without a familiar blanket while the first one dries.

Why it takes that long
We curate rather than manufacture, so orders ship from our supplier network rather than from a warehouse down the road. We would rather say so here than have you find out at checkout.

Returns
You have 30 days from delivery. If something arrives damaged, faulty or simply wrong, email hello@momomoca.com with a photo within 7 days and we will send a replacement or refund you in full, shipping included. In most cases you will not be asked to post anything back.

Changed your mind? That is fine too, within the same 30 days, though the return postage is yours.
